Metadynea offers a wide range of formaldehyde-based resins for particle board, dry processed fiberboard (MDF, HDF, thin HDF), wet processed fiberboard, OSB and plywood applications. This includes products for all common emission classes from E1 (EN 717-1) through E1 (EN 16516), CARB2, F**** down to emissions such as those made from natural, untreated wood (AsWood™). There are also glues available for special applications, such as boards for use in damp areas or HDF floors and many others.
Metadynea Austria has a large development department with associated laboratories, which makes it possible to develop “tailor-made” solutions for all of our customers’ applications, even at short notice. Thanks to our application technology know-how, Metadynea Austria is able to accompany and support the development process from the definition of the panel quality to approval at the panel manufacturer on site.
Particleboard
Metadynea offers:
• Single resin systems for all applications
• Twin resin systems (surface layer/core layer separated) primarily for furniture panels of all emission classes. For larger board quantities, such systems are also possible for other applications.
• CARB2: Various urea-formaldehyde resins (UF) and melamine-reinforced urea-formaldehyde resins (mUF) as single- or twin-resin systems
• F****: Various melamine-reinforced urea-formaldehyde (mUF) resins, which enable all requirements of JIS A5908 to be met.
• AsWood™: This product group makes it possible to achieve emissions similar to natural, untreated wood using formaldehyde-based resins.
• A wide range of melamine-reinforced urea-formaldehyde resins (mUF), melamine-urea-formaldehyde resins (MUF) and also melamine-urea-phenol-formaldehyde resins (MUPF) to achieve all requirement classes according to EN 312 P3 to P7.
Dry processed fiber board (MDF, HDF, thin HDF)
Metadynea offers solutions for all applications in the fiberboard industry to meet the industry standard EN 622-5.
• E1 resins according to EN 16516 and EN 717-1
• Flooring panels (HDF): Various urea-formaldehyde (UF) resins and melamine-reinforced urea-formaldehyde resins (mUF) to achieve all common emission classes (E1, ½ E1, Greenguard Gold, CARB II, F****, ….).
• Thin fiber boards: Various melamine-reinforced urea-formaldehyde resins (mUF) to achieve all common emission classes.
• F****: Various melamine-reinforced urea-formaldehyde (mUF) resins, which enable all requirements of JIS A5908 to be met.
• Phenol-formaldehyde resins are also available for special applications.
Wet processed fiber board
Metadynea offers phenol-formaldehyde resins to meet the industry standard EN 622-2.
OSB panels
Metadynea offers solutions for all applications in the OSB industry to meet the industry standard EN 300.
Melamine-reinforced urea-formaldehyde resins (mUF/MUF) for OSB 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Plywood
Metadynea offers solutions for all applications in the plywood industry to meet the industry standards EN 313 and EN 314.
Individual urea-formaldehyde glues (UF) and melamine-reinforced urea-formaldehyde glues (mUF/MUF) for all emission classes.
